Usually the best Japanese street food is found in festivals. Japanese festival would have food stalls touting delicious street snacks and the festival roads become lively with bright lights, voices, and aromas. Everyone is wearing Yukata, engaged in conversation.

However, there are some districts in Tokyo that always have that Japanese festival feel and the best street food can be found there.

While Japan has some street food but street food culture just isn’t as common here Tokyo.
