Yanaka is typical of Tokyo shitamachi and it has Yanaka Ginza sopping street. Large and small shops line the street, many with open fronts and good s displayed facing the street.
In the Yanaka neighborhood shopping area, you can buy hot "Korokke" fresh and eat them on the spot. These foods are original Japanese snacks.
You will see some wide steps in front of the sopping street. This is called the Yuyake dandan(sunset terrace), because beautiful sunsets can be seen from here.
Yanaka is close to Nippori station(Yamanote line).
