Omotesando

Omotesando originally an approach to Meiji Shrine, it is the name of the broad, tree-lined avenue that leads from Jingu-bashi down through the center of Harajuku.

It is surrounded by lush grove of trees at the end of Omotesando, the street of luxury brands and high fashion shops that is lined with Zelkova trees.

There are fashion boutiques and novelty shops in the street, including the Kiddy Land  the Oriental Bazaar, and Tokyo Union Church.

The sidewalks arc crowdfriendly in width and, naturally, crowded.

Omotesando is the street for younger people and more casual than Ginza.
