Nikko national park is a treasure-house of natural beauty. Here in Oku nikko, you can see Mt.Nantai, so many other beautiful mountains, beautiful Kegon waterfall and Lake Chuzenji.
It takes about three minutes to get from Akechidaira to the observatory using the Ropeway.
From the winodw of the ropeway, you can see a natural panoramic view and from the the observatory you can see the Lake Chuzenji and the Kegon waterfall .

How to take buses in Nikko
As of November 2018, Tochigi prefecture is trying the one way experiment to avoid the traffic jam. I recommend that you go to the Akechidaira Ropeway first before go to Kegon waterfall.
