Azalea Festival at Nezu Shrine


Nezu jinja, boasts numerous highlights, including a massive entrance gate, the lined many red torii, and a 300 yearold wall, 200 meters long.

The main attraction is the arching bank of azaleas to the left of the shrine.

The azaleas number more than 3,000 and blossom in colors of red, white, purple, and light pink.

The Azalea Festival is held on the shrine grounds from early April until early May.
